1Orange peel — thin rind of an orangegarnish

6 wholeegg white — white of eggsother
0.5 lbpowdered sugar sweetener
  1. Squeeze the citrus into a large punch bowl and dissolve in the powdered sugar.
  2. Add the orange rind and stir in the beaten egg whites by degrees.
  3. Add the champagne and rum, mix well, decorate with fruit, refrigerate until thoroughly cooled, and serve.
