1.5 wine glasssherry — sherry winemodifier
1egg — fresh eggother
0.5 glassice — fine iceother
nutmeg — Grate on top.other
  1. Shake the sugar, sherry wine, egg, and fine ice well.
  2. Strain into a fancy stem glass, grate a little nutmeg on top, and serve.

Garnish: Nutmeg.

Ice: Fine ice

Daly's nourishing and harmless gloss makes this a useful example of restorative language attached to a cold cafe drink.

The shake-and-strain service puts it closer to a cold flip than to the direct-glass egg services nearby.
