water — Fill the balance with water.dilution

1 dashport — port winemodifier
ice — fine iceother
  1. Shake the sugar, lemon juice, fine ice, and water well in a shaker.
  2. Dash with port wine, ornament with fruit in season, and serve with straws.

Garnish: Fruit in season.

Ice: Fine ice

This is a useful wine-dashed lemonade checkpoint in the temperance-to-light-alcohol borderland.

The single dash of port is what moves it out of straight lemonade service.
