Mahoney's Gazette Fizz is a yolk-and-brandy fizz topped with seltzer and meant to be taken immediately.

seltzer — Fill up after straining.dilution

  1. Shake the egg yolk, powdered sugar, lemon juice, Martell brandy, and shaved ice well.
  2. Strain into a fizz glass, fill up with seltzer, and drink immediately.
