Nose
Sherry and orange bitters lift softly from the glass.
Palate
This is a very useful aperitif checkpoint because the fortified-wine line is still fully alive and not subordinate to gin or whiskey logic.
Finish
The finish is dry, vinous, and gently orange-toned.
Summary
A mature sherry-vermouth aperitif from the fortified-wine cocktail branch.
