0.6London dry gin — Gordon dry ginbase
1 twistOrange peel — orange peelgarnish
0.3dry vermouth — Chappaz Vermouthmodifier
0.1sweet vermouth — Bailor Vermouthmodifier
0.5 glassice — fine iceother
  1. Shake the gin and both vermouths with fine ice.
  2. Strain, finish with orange peel, and serve.

Garnish: Twist of orange peel

Ice: Fine ice

Nose
Orange and dry gin rise crisply from the glass.
Palate
This is a particularly nice ratio checkpoint because it shows the dry-gin line tightening while still keeping a little sweet-vermouth flesh.
Finish
The finish is dry, citrusy, and cool.
Summary
A near-dry Martini-style aperitif with a trace of sweet vermouth.
