3 dashLemon juice (fresh) — lemon juiceacid

Claret (Bordeaux red wine) — claretother
1 dashRaspberry syrup — raspberry syrupsweetener
  1. Use a mixing glass.
  2. Dissolve the sugar with a dash of seltzer, then add the lemon juice, rum, raspberry syrup, Benedictine, and whiskey with cracked ice.
  3. Stir well, strain into a punch glass filled with cracked ice, dress with fruit, top with claret, and serve with straws.

Ice: Cracked ice

This is a useful late mixed-spirit punch because it keeps the fruit-top and claret-finish grammar alive well into the pre-war period.
