| 1 dash | Jamaica rum | base |
| 0.5 teaspoonful | sugar | base |
| water — Use a little to dissolve the sugar. | dilution | |

- Dissolve the sugar in a little water and add the mint, brandy, and Jamaica rum.
- Fill the glass with ice, trim with fruit in season, and serve with straws.
