- Dissolve the sugar in water in the tumbler, add rum, add the remaining boiling water, and drop in a thin piece of lemon peel.

- Dissolve the sugar in the water in a hot water glass and add the lemon juice and Medford rum.
- Spoon well, grate a little nutmeg on top, and serve.
