boiling water — Pot of boiling water.base

Muscatel wine — Equal amount to the flavored water.other
sugar — A few teaspoonfuls dissolved in the wine.sweetener
  1. Put cloves, cinnamon, and grated nutmeg into a pot of boiling water until the flavor becomes pungent.
  2. Pour in an equal amount of Muscatel wine in which sugar has been dissolved, bring the whole to the boiling point, and serve piping hot with crisp dry toast.

Garnish: Crisp dry toast.
