Cocktails by Pedro Chicote (1928, p.284) — Sidra

1 copitaCalvados base
1 glasscider — Sidrabase
1 glasscognac — Conacbase
1 sliceorange slice — Rodaja de naranjagarnish
1 tablespoonsugar — Azucarsweetener
  1. Heat the cider with sugar, transfer to a water glass, add orange and Calvados, then sprinkle with cognac and ignite.

Garnish: Orange slice

This matters because it preserves a Calvados-and-cider grog branch with explicit flaming service in Chicote.

Heating the cider first and then flaming the cognac at service are the key method details.
