0.5 pintbrandy — pale brandybase
1 stickvanilla — vanilla stickbase
ice — shaven iceother
lemon sherbet — lemon juice and sugar sherbetsweetener
  1. Infuse the vanilla stick in the pale brandy until sufficiently flavored, then strain.
  2. Add a sherbet of lemon juice and sugar.
  3. Fill the tumbler with shaven ice and serve with straws.

This short named punch is another example of Victorian perfume-like flavor interests crossing into mixed drinks.

The infusion step matters more than the relatively simple finishing build.
