1 lumpice — Pour in on a lump of ice in a covered vessel.other
pineapple or guava/apple jelly — pine-apple or guava or apple jellyother

  1. Macerate the herbs in the sherry and strain clear.
  2. Add the chosen flavoring and the cider and sweeten to taste.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a lump of ice in a covered vessel and add the soda-water just before using.

This is a good example of Terrington's orchard cup family moving into semi-preserve and tropical-fruit territory.

The covered-ice vessel helps preserve sparkle and aroma until service.
