  1. Put the sherry, Scotch whisky, preserved ginger or pineapple, and cucumber into a cooler.
  2. When required, add the iced seltzer water and the shaven ice and serve.

Garnish: Slice of cucumber.

The cooler staging implies a prepared base that is finished cold at service.
