0.5 ponyrum — Rumbase
1 jiggerrye whiskey — Rye whiskeybase
1 tspsugar — Sugarbase
1 tspwater — Waterdilution
crushed ice — Crushed iceother
12 wholemint — Mint leavesother
mint — Mint sprigsother
1 dashGrenadine — Grenadine syrupsweetener
  1. Crush the mint leaves in a tall glass.
  2. Dissolve the sugar in water, stir it in, then add rye, rum, and grenadine.
  3. Fill with crushed ice, jiggle until frappéed, decorate with mint sprigs, and serve.
