1 slicelemon — slice lemonacid

  1. Mix the sugar with a little water in a thin punch-glass.
  2. Add the slice of lemon, claret, curacoa, and Madeira, then mix well.
  3. Add a slice of cucumber, fill the glass with cold seltzer, and serve.

Garnish: Lemon slice and cucumber slice

Nose
Claret, lemon, and cucumber create a lighter single-glass cup aroma.
Palate
The Madeira and curacoa add complexity without pulling the drink out of the refreshing single-serve cup register.
Finish
The finish is cool, vinous, and lightly spiced.
